Galloway Signs with the Patriots
Wide Receiver Joey Galloway has agreed to a one-year deal with the New England Patriots, according to several reports. Steve Duemig of WDAE (Tampa Radio), was the first to report the story.
Galloway was released by Tampa Bay on Feb. 25, after being plagued by a foot injury for much of last season. He appeared in only nine games and had 13 catches for 138 yards on the year.
Galloway has registered 682 career receptions for 10,710 yards and 77 touchdowns in 14 NFL seasons. His addition is more of a veteran presence than anything else. I DO NOT see him biting into Wes Welker or Randy Moss’ production.
