Ravens Sign CB Chris Carr
The Baltimore Ravens have signed cornerback/kick returner Chris Carr to a contract on Tuesday. Carr has agreed in principle on a two-year, $5 million contract according to the Baltimore Sun.
Carr played with the Titans last year as their special teams ace and his acquisition should help the Ravens in the department. Last season’s primary kick returner, Jim Leonhard.
Carr was signed primarily as a punt returner but could compete for a job as the 3rd cornerback behind Dominik Foxworth and Fabian Washington. Regardless, Carr should provide some much needed depth after the Ravens released both Chris McAlister & Samari Rolle earlier in the off-season.
