Radio Weekend for TFE

Favre-ChillyFew people realize the NFL Season is only 45 days away and that while real action might not be next week, now is the time to begin serious analysis of your upcoming fantasy season.

This weekend also proved to be a nice opportunity to appear on a number of different fantasy football shows like NFL Breakdown, Twitter Fantasy Football Roundtable, & Sports Talk Soup to help spread the word and see if there’s a few folks still out there that we can extrapolate some more info from.

Of course, we enjoyed another great show on Wednesday with special guest Jay Clemons from Sports Illustrated appearing for a spot on Smash Mouth Wednesday.  We talked about his “Fantasy Clicks” on SI.com, his thoughts on NFL Rookies, and Jay also revealed a deep sleeper for your fantasy drafts.

You can catch that awesome interview here: The Fantasy Exchange w/ Jay Clemons

On Friday I guest hosted “NFL Breakdown” and joined George Kurtz to talk about the latest rookie signings, training camp updates, and of course fantasy football implications.  George and I broke down the top of our quarterback, running back, and wide receiver rankings in the second half of the show.  Also look for my prediction of who this year’s “Miles Austin” will be….

Saturday Night was another classic episode of Jim Day’s Twitter Fantasy Football Round-Table that featured guest appearances by Paul Greco of FantasyPros911.com, Bill Enright from FFChamps.com, and you guessed it ME. ;)

We got into a great debate over Kevin Kolb, DeSean Jackson, Matt Stafford, and I even got quasi-fired up about Matt Ryan being mentioned in the top-10 of QBs.  All in all, it was a great show that covered overvalued/undervalued players, QBs to take a big step forward this year, and fantasy players to stay away from this season.  To top off the show, Jim grilled all the guests in a can’t-miss segment of  “On the Spot”.

To cap off the night, I was a featured guest on Sports Talk Soup w/ Vito aka “The Godfather” to talk underrated QBs that might outshine their rankings.  We also continued our coverage of the Ultimate ESPN Rankings, teams 9-16, on the 100th episode of Sports Talk Soup.

Once again, I beg you all to check the calendar now.  We’re only 15 days away from the Bengals vs Cowboys game in Canton, Ohio.  We’re just about at the 45 day mark and it’s still not too late.  You can save your fantasy season and I’ll be here to help you do it!
