Runningbacks
WEEK FIVE – RUNNINGBACKS
Darren McFadden looks to have another big week ahead of him while Michael Turner should have a big role against the Packers if the Falcons want to keep Aaron Rodgers off the field.
Fred Jackson is a lock for the Top-10 this week and barely misses the Top-5 with a great matchup against the Eagles who are struggling to stop opposing runningbacks.

Shonn G at #45?!? I can keep 3 of these 4 guys (I thought I was doing good till I saw this list):
- S.Jackson (STL)
- S.Green (NYJ)
- L.McCoy (PHI)
- K.Moreno (DEN)
My thoughts were Jackson and Green for sure and I was struggling with the 3rd. I also have Farve but I’m leaning towards keeping 3 RB’s even though I can only start 2. It’s a 12 team keeper league with each team keeping 3 (not PPR).
Thanks, MCK
MCK,
Thanks for your comment! Our rankings and site are going through some changes, so it might have reverted back to 2009 ranks? The most recent rankings should be up to date and sorry about the mixup on our end… look for a new and improved look around here coming soon.
As for your non-PPR keeper situation, I agree that you are in great shape w/ those RBs. I would go with S.Jackson, S.Greene, and K.Moreno. I like McCoy, but I fear that a lot of his points/value will come through receiving yards and receptions. Philly is and always will be a passing team which will give McCoy a lot of PPR value catching check-downs, bail-outs, and screen passes.
Moreno should improve, I’m not as high on him as some other people may be and I think he has some talent, it’s just his vision and patience that’s lacking…. maybe it will come with time. Regardless, he’s going to get a majority of the carries and red-zone plays. Shon Greene is a beast and S-Jax should keep the train rolling.
You have a great initial group of keepers Sir!
Cheers
